  1. Honey in my coffee
  2. An email from my dad yesterday chronicling my lineage on his side of the family back many generations. I know that I am descended (by way of adoption), from Capt. John Gorham, who came to Plymouth, Mass., in 1620. He married Desire Howland, whose parents, John and Lily, came over on the Mayflower. It’s very cool to have this information, if only for bragging rights.
  3. I’m also descended from Nathanial Gorham, who signed the US Constitution. In April, I’m traveling to Philadelphia for the first time to attend a professional conference, and one of the events is at the museum where the Constitution is displayed, so I can see the signature. Cool.
  4. The new dishwasher cleans the dishes! It cleans the dishes!
  5. Today, I am healthy.
